It is so easy. Click the “Post A Project” button and let Libby on our AI channel help you build your project. You can build the project from scratch or you can use one of our bundled project packages if appropriate. Once you submit your project, one of our Project managers will reach out to you to answer any questions and to ask for any additional information that they may feel is necessary to complete the job posting. It’s that simple.

Our Service Concierges are either experienced handymen or talented home inspectors who are trained to maintain your appliances and systems.

Yes! Our bundled products allow you to pick the materials / products that you need and then see the competitive installation rates that we have negotiated for you ahead of time. No need to haggle back and forth with different professionals. We have done the negotiations for you and have hand-selected the best professionals to do the work for you.

Begin A Project is here to help you get the job done.  If you are managing a project on your own, then we will assist you with general questions and assistance. If you choose our Project Concierge service, then we will be there for you every step of the way until the project is completed. If you select our Service Concierge service, we will manage all of your appliance maintenance and systems checks throughout the year. So, no matter the option you pick, Begin A Project is there to help you out.

All fees are explained on the “Fees and Charges” page which can be accessed by clicking the link on the footer. Customers only pay a service charge if they use a credit card. If they use ACH, the fee is only $5.00 per transaction. For the professional, there is no charge to bid on a project. There is a project management fee for the professional if they win a project.

 

You sure can. We offer all types of products to fit your project needs. If there is something that you need that we do not display on the platform, jump into the chat and ask us to get it for you. We want to be the complete project platform for everyone.

Begin A Project manages all payments to the professionals. Once a milestone is completed, the customer will be able to accept or dispute the completed milestone. Once the milestone is approved or the dispute is resolved, then Begin A Project will release the payment to the Professional. For disputes, the project manager gets involved and works with both parties to resolve any issues that the customer has with the milestone. We are here to serve both the customer and the professional.

Begin A Project is available in every city across the United States. In some of the smaller markets, we may not have an abundance of professionals to bid on your project. If that is the case, our professional team will work to bring in additional professionals to bid on your project. Teamwork!

The professional goes through a sign-up process that includes validation of driver’s licenses, validation of their state professional licenses (if required), verification of their professional’s general liability coverage and a background check. All of these are necessary to become to qualify to do work on Begin A Project.
